Suzanne Biers MD, FRCS Urol, Consultant Urological Surgeon
Suzanne Biers works as a consultant urological surgeon at Addenbrooke's Hospital, practicing general urology, and sub-specializing in female and male lower urinary tract symptoms, incontinence and urinary tract reconstructive surgery.
She has a strong interest in teaching and training, and joined the faculty of The International Anastomosis Workshop in 2014.
She is course director for the Reconstructive Techniques in Urology Course, Emergency Urology Course and Emergency Urology Surgical Skills Course, lead for the Urology Masters Degree and acts as faculty in British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS) Office of Education courses for trainees. She is co-author of The Oxford Handbook of Urology, now into its fourth edition, and of the textbook Emergency Urology.
